My journey

My professional career began in Human Resource Management but pivoted to coaching corporate fitness classes part-time when my second child was born. For over a decade I challenged my clients and helped them realize their fitness goals. It was during this time that my interest in health - whole health - began to deepen. I enrolled in a Master of Holistic Health Studies program at St. Catherine University, and it was there that I first learned of homeopathy through a guest lecturer. With one year left in the master’s program, I enrolled in a 4-year homeopathy academy to study Classical Homeopathy.

Studying homeopathy has taught me that symptoms themselves are not the problem, or something that should be suppressed. I recognize symptoms now as the body’s way of expressing an imbalance (or dis-ease).

A thorough understanding of the expression of a symptom or set of symptoms will point the practitioner in the direction of the remedy that is most similar to the energy of the imbalance. By matching the energy, the body’s innate healing mechanism is stimulated, thus making homeopathy a unique system of medicine that beautifully substantiates this principle of 'like treats like’. Once we are brought back into balance we are free from the barriers that have been preventing us from living our best life and letting our inner light shine.

Common imbalances that I have worked with include emotional trauma, anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorders, acute illnesses, broken bones, chronic skin conditions, chronic joint inflammation, behavioral issues in children, neurological conditions, and autoimmune conditions. Please note that I am not a licensed medical doctor; I do not diagnose or treat diseases; and do not give medical advice.

My ideal client is one who values health and understands that true healing is gentle, gradual, and nonlinear. If this sounds like you, please see my services page for appointment options!
